On Saturday, May 1st, I went on a hike on the Superior Hiking Trail, which is near the North Shore of Minnesota and Lake Superior with the Blissful Hiker, my friend the all amazing Alison Young. We camped at the popular Minnesota State Park called, Split Rock Light house. Below are some pictures of the coastal lake shore, that you can see from the trail.
On the trail we came across a couple of streams and a picturesque waterfall. We also came across a couple of fisherman, who were taking advantage of the beautiful day and were fishing for some local trout. One fisherman we met, Jeff mentioned he had been to the area for over 30 years but recently started coming back to the north shore last year fishing. Today, he was enjoying fishing with both his dad and brother.
